Following the end of the transitional period on 31.12.2020 for the comprehensive settlement of future relations between the European Union and the United Kingdom and in the absence of an agreement, British nationals in Austria will have to apply to maintain their continued right of residence and permission to work. Austrian nationals who are settled in the United Kingdom or Austrian citizens migrating to the UK will have to apply for a visa if they do not apply for a residence permit (so-called “scheduled-“ or “pre-scheduled” status). New applicants will have to qualify for UK residency using a points system that will soon be applicable. BREXIT will also have a major impact on the possibility to post workers in the UK and vice versa.
FISCHER FLP makes it easier for you as an Austrian citizen to stay in or immigrate to the UK and for British citizens to stay in Austria, also and takes care of labour law issues. So that BREXIT doesn't stop you.

In the event of a hard BREXIT, UK Limited companies formed or operating in Austria will no longer be recognized as suitable legal forms under Austrian law. In most cases, timely reorganizing or terminating your Limited company might be the only way out.

In absence of an agreement on the future relationship between the EU and the United Kingdom, the UK leaves the European single market as well as the Customs Union unregulated.
